The expansion of the programme to other cities and especially the villages, which is already in process, is surely the first priority of the Foundation.
On-going evaluation and staff improvement, the introduction of new methodologies and specialized approaches, the increased parents involvement, the introduction of Portage in the government's preschool programmes for disabled children and the further co-operation with all the other early intervention-related organisations, are some of the Foundation's additional plans for the future.
The increased and improved co-operation with the IPA is of course a priority which will be continued, especially in relation with the organization of the 9th IPA Conference in 2002, and the development of Cyprus into a Regional Portage Staff Training Centre.
